Liberty Leasing is pleased to have been Highly Commended at last night’s NACFB Awards, held at the Park Plaza Westminster, in the ‘Specialist Lender of the Year’ category.
Liberty became involved with the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers over 15 years ago. We are now a patron of the Association and we’ve exhibited at the Commercial Finance Expo every year.
The awards are granted based on the highest number of votes received from the NACFB’s community of brokers, but to have been recognised as Highly Commended by the NACFB themselves, despite not winning our category, is still a great achievement.
The Asset Finance Specialist
Whilst typical asset finance via leasing or hire purchase may not necessarily be deemed ‘Specialist’, we believe it is our approach to the process that sets ourselves apart and gives us the right to call ourselves “The Asset Finance Specialist”.
Across the asset finance industry, the last 20 years has seen a shift from face-to-face ‘old bank’ style relationship management towards digital technology. Whilst the efficiencies cannot be understated, Liberty has built its reputation by holding onto the best parts of the traditional personal approach whilst utilising technology to streamline the processes. This attitude is vital given our reliance on the broker channel and the long-term, often personal relationships we build with our brokers and clients.

“We place an emphasis on our personal approach and to this day every broker has a dedicated Account Manager that will visit the customer in person either with or on behalf of the broker to sign up each deal. We believe that consistency is a key element to any effective business relationship and we pride ourselves on the fact that we have long-serving dedicated Account Management teams. Our first two Account Managers who were taken on as graduate trainees are still with us almost 15 years later. We look to continually improve our business model but always with our broker & customer relationships at the centre.”.
A great end to a successful year
2019 has been a year of successes for Liberty. We received the ‘Top in Customer Engagement‘ Award earlier this year at the first-ever Leasing World Customer Service and Operation Excellence Awards. Followed by achieving ‘Top Classic and Supercar Funder‘ at the 2019 Leasing World Awards. So to achieve one more accolade is a great ending to the year.
